Armando Bonato is an artist from Milan. He started drawing comics in Italy in the late 1940s, under the pseudonym "Boar". In the 50s he worked in British comics through the Roy D'Ami Agency. He drew for Cowboy Picture Library (Kit Carson), Western Picture Library (Buffalo Bill, Mustang Grey, Jim Bridger), Thriller Picture Library (Battler Britton, Spy 13) and Air Ace Picture Library. He continued to work in Italian comics until he retired in the 1980s.
