Billy's Brain was a comic strip by David Haldane which was part of Oink!'s launch line-up in 1986.
Billy's uncle Vincent was a mad scientist whose brain was, apparently, full of useful knowledge... so he sent it to Billy to keep it safe until he needed it. The early strips revolved around Billy and the brain repeatedly outsmarting a gangster mob who wanted to steal the brain for themselves, but the villains were soon defeated and subsequent strips concentrated on the brain's sense of fun and mischief.
Although a constant presence in Oink!'s first six months, the strip was abruptly dropped after issue #14 to make way for new characters.
