Doctor Who, the BBC series about a face-changing alien time traveller that started in 1963, has been adapted to comics from very early on.

  • Doctor Who Annuals have been published since 1965.
  • The strip returned to TV Comic from 1973 to 1979, featuring Pertwee's third Doctor and Tom Baker's fourth, drawn by Gerry Haylock, Martin Asbury and John Canning. In 1978-79 reprints of second and third Doctor stories were re-edited to feature the fourth Doctor by Canning.
