Des Troy was a strip in The Beezer and Topper, debuting in issue 1 (22nd September 1990). It was drawn by Barrie Appleby.
It featured the adventures of a somewhat punk looking boy who was similar in many ways to Dennis the Menace, though his schemes tended to be more grand-scale and were often unprovoked.
Des was not picked up by The Beano or The Dandy following the demise of The Beezer and Topper, and being in the Topper section of the merged comic, he was absent from the majority of Beezer annuals from after the comic's cancellation. However, he did have a short strip in the final (2003) edition.
