Jack Bridges drew for comics published by Martin & Reid and Paget Publications in the 1940s, including Paget's Dapper Comic ("Ted the Tec"), Paget's Funny Cuts Comic ("Harry the Hawker"), Paget's Merry Laughs ("Pete the Page"), Paget's Snappy Comic ("Freddie Fireman", 1948), The Comic Ledger ("Mountie Hank", 1949) and The Funstar Comic ("Nippy Nicker", 1949).
