J. B. Allen was a Cheshire-based publisher which published comics including The Comet (1946-1959) and Sun (1947-1959, previously a health magazine called Fitness and Sun) and Merry-Go-Round (1949-). They used the quality printing of Rembrandt Photogravure in Watford. Taken over by the Amalgamated Press in 1949.
