"Uncle Mack and his Merry Band of Nigger Minstrels", The Golden Penny Comic, 1925
Jack Walker's early work appeared in the Daily Sketch. In the mid-20s he worked for the comics of Fleetway Press, drawing "Happy Schnapps" (1924) on the front page of The Monster Comic, and the unfortunately-named "Uncle Mack and his Merry Band of Nigger Minstrels" (1925) for The Golden Penny Comic.
