Jamie Smart is an artist and writer best known for his comic strips for children, which share a distinctive style. These include "Fish-Head Steve" and the one-off "The DFC Olympics" for The DFC, "My Own Genie" and "Desperate Dan" for The Dandy, "Bunny vs Monkey" and Megalomaniacs for The Phoenix, "Space Raoul" for the Sunday Times (later migrating to The Dandy and subsequently to its own book) and "Count Von Poo" for Toxic

Other projects from Smart include the comics Bear and Ubu Bubu, the webcomics Whubble, Kochi Wanaba and Angry Little Robot, the puzzle books "Find Chaffy" and "Where's the Doctor?" ,the T-shirt line Bohda Te and the books Flember.
