The Beezer was a long running comic which ran from 1956-1990 and over the years it was home to 120 different comic strips. Mergers with two other comics, Cracker and Plug in 1976 and 1979, respectively, added characters from those comics to The Beezer's roster. The Beezer eventually merged with another comic The Topper in 1990 becoming the Beezer and Topper, this new comic featured a number of characters from The Beezer and ended in 1993 with a few of the characters going on to appear in two other comics The Beano and The Dandy.
