"Paws" is a strip that ran in Krazy, moving to Whizzer and Chips when Krazy was cancelled. It starred a dog, doing typical dog things: making life difficult for his owners, gnawing bones and getting into scuffles with other dogs of the neighbourhood.
The strip was drawn by Leslie "Styx" Harding, who later came up with spin-off characters of sorts: Claws the cat and Caws the crow.[1]
