Robert Deas is an artist and writer.
An early project by Deas was the webcomic Instrument of War, a spin-off from which came second in the Print/Media category of the 2006 IMAF competition. He then contributed the strip "November" to the 2007 anthology Mammoth Book of Best New Manga volume 2, and in 2008 he illustrated Macbeth, part of SelfMadeHero's Manga Shakespeare series.
In 2009 his strip "Spectrum Black" began running in The DFC, but it was cut short by the comic's cancellation. Deas has since contributed to The Phoenix, the spiritual successor to The DFC.
In 2011 he drew another literary adaptation for SelfMadeHero, this time Pride and Prejudice.
He has also worked on comics for the North American market, including The Golden Tiger, Nemesis and Transformers: All Hail Megatron.[1]
